Summary
This person is responsible for managing small to mid-size accounts within Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Kentucky. This position works as a team with the sales arm of the organization to meet and exceed company sales goals by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties
- Spending up to 25-30% of your time traveling making sales calls to clients in assigned territory by visiting brewhouse facilities, brewpubs, tasting rooms, and attending trade shows. 70-75% of time working remotely from home office managing existing business and engaging in new client acquisition through cold calls (phone, email).
- Acquire, develop, and retain customer accounts in territory in order to create, strengthen, and maintain relationships with prospects, customers, suppliers, competitors, and industry influencers.
- Professionally represent the Crosby Hops brand while emphasizing innovation, quality, service, history, and integrity.
Job Duties
- Collaborate with Key Account Managers and various Crosby Hops departments (Customer Success, Accounting, Production, Quality, Warehouse) to provide a seamless customer experience.
- Contribute to Crosby Hops’ culture of continuous improvement and innovation by suggesting improvements to process, facilities, customer experience, etc.
- Collaborate and share best practices with Crosby Hops peers.
- Monitor status and encourage customers to take delivery of contracted hops.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Maintains punctual, regular, and predictable attendance.
- Work with the Team Lead to build, execute, and maintain a strategic plan for assigned territory.
- Respectfully takes direction from manager.
- Manage CRM data with high level of detail and professionalism to maximize efficiency and information retrieval.
- Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.

Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, three to five years related experience, and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience working in a sales or business development role, experience in craft beer market preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, and/or Registrations
A valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and automobile liability coverage or access to an insured vehicle.
Travel Requirement

Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Computer Skills
Has advanced basic computer job skills including logging on to systems, communicating by email, composing documents, entering database information, creating presentations, downloading forms, and preserving important data. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM’s such as Pipedrive, Hubspot, and Salesforce.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
