Job Description
SilkRoad Technology's software and services platform helps our clients attract, retain and align people to their business. Our solutions start with Global Client Services to provide strategic HR and business expertise. SilkRoad Technology then designs secure solutions tailored to business requirements at scale for global companies. We deliver personalized experiences for employees to drive engagement across the employment lifecycle and enable measurable and better business outcomes.
Our Sales team is seeking a Corporate Account Manager to develop, maintain and grow existing client relationships to drive revenue for assigned mid-market accounts. The CAM will execute sales programs to generate new revenue from existing clients by upselling and cross-selling SilkRoad products and services.
Your Contributions To SilkRoad Will Include
  • Developing professional sales proposals.
  • Leading sales presentations and product demonstrations of people centric solutions, through collaboration with Solution Engineers and other subject matter experts.
  • Documenting prospecting activities, opportunities and client interactions within existing client base and creating accurate sales forecasts in Salesforce.
  • Ensuring clients are consistently satisfied with SilkRoad’s products and services and facilitating resolution of issues.
  • Delivering excellent client service in support of the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Generating sales and renewal quotes and contracts and leading negotiations of contracts.
  • Maintaining knowledge of industry and competitors, and SilkRoad’s products; participating in SilkRoad product management meetings to stay up to date on current capabilities and future product enhancements.
  • Identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities within an existing client account base to meet sales revenue goals; evaluating client needs and proposes new solutions.
  • Establishing and maintaining positive, effective long-term client relationships by acting as the primary point of contact for all client inquiries.
Required Skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet strict deadlines.
  • Excellent client relationship building and problem resolution abilities.
  • Strong solution selling skills aligning technology solutions to business value.
  • Successful presenter with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient with computer software including Salesforce and MS Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Demonstrates understanding of client’s business drivers and risks.
Required Experience
  • Salesforce.com experience is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of account management/sales experience is required. Experience in a related industry or SaaS is nice to have.
  • Demonstrated success in growing client business and meeting revenue targets/quotas.
  • Proven track record of generating revenue through sales.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience is required.
