Job Overview – VP of Human Resources – JO#31589

Our client is seeking a VP of Human Resources to develop and support the organization's policies and procedures. They will attract, develop, and retain talent, and ensure compliance. They will partner with hiring managers to discuss needs, develop strategies to attract talent, and support onboarding and orientation. The VP of HR will manage employee relations by completing investigations and making recommendations. They will be responsible for maintaining employee files, HRIS management, responding to audit requests, and staying current with employment laws and regulations. The VP of HR will review and approve payroll processing and conduct annual compensation reviews. They will answer employee questions regarding benefits, serve as a benefits administrator, support open enrollment, and manage leave. Requirements

• Critical thinking and decision-making skills
• High-level of emotional intelligence and proven skills in employee relations
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• HR certification
• Bachelors Degree
• Effective interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills
• 7+ years of progressive HR experience
• Experience developing and augmenting policies and procedures
• Experience with payroll and benefits administration
• In-depth knowledge of employment laws
