Morgan Stanley Services Group, Inc. seeks a Vice President, Technology in New York, New York

Contribute to operating technology development using the Agile framework. Work with business partners to recommend and influence technology requirement statements. Responsible for story board, epics, and story mapping to achieve technology initiatives and discuss goals with the development and business groups by providing impacted teams with current state and target state workflow diagrams, data mappings, screenshots, mock ups, use cases, and scenarios. Document all necessary details to User Stories required for the development team to develop solutions. Monitor that information technology solutions are followed and identify, analyze, and understand any potential gaps in solution implementation gaps. Identify efforts where end-to-end testing is required and approaching Quality Assurance leads to orchestrate testing and ensure that the same data sets are flowing through test cases. Maintain and prioritize the Fleet-level backlog of work, by driving alignment between Fleet level purpose and Squad level components.

Salary: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $158,000 and $200,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.

Requirements:

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field of study and seven (7) years of experience in the position offered or seven (7) years as a Computer system analyst, computer system engineer, computer system architect, business analyst or a related role. Requires seven (7) years of experience with: SQL; JSON; BPM workflows; Business Rule Engines including IBM operational Decision Manager; Mechanisms of publishing and subscribing (PUB SUB) messages in IBM MQ; Visio; Excel Macros in VB; and Object Oriented Analysis (OOAD) Techniques; SQL Developer; and Toad Analyst. Requires four (4) years of experience with: PLSQL in IBM UDB; IBM Db2; Oracle using Rapid SQL; Jrules; Drules; Kafka; MS Azure Cloud; Datalake; Snowflake; Big data; VSAM; and Snaggit.
