What You’ll Do


  • Track calendars for Deutsche Bank Management Boards, identify AFC inputs/deliverables, and coordinate process to appropriately prepare AFC participants, including Head/Deputy Head of AFC
  • Drive superior end-to-end management of content, prepare materials, maintain calendar for, and participate in AFC Governance facilitated and/or supported forums
  • Liaise with AFC Program heads (Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)/ Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Sanctions/ Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), Anti-Fraud, Anti-Bribery & Corruption) and non-AFC stakeholders responsible for the management of other forms of specialist criminal activity (Information Technology (IT) Security, Corporate Security, Group Legal, Group Data Privacy, Group Tax), along with maintain an understanding of AFC functions and non-AFC specialist functions that cover ‘AML, Terrorist Financing, and all other criminal activities’, to understand how Deutsche Bank stakeholder groups are managing associated financial crime risks
  • Participate in formalizing and creating relevant materials, engagement models, training, and escalation paths for AFC Governance across first and second lines of defense
  • Support enhancements of AFC Governance facilitated forums including, but not limited to, alignment with the global governance framework and overall 2LoD (second line of-defense) governance structure, maintain and update forum mandates, tasks/responsibilities, and parameters to achieve the mandates (e.g., requisite metrics, logistics, etc.), and developing escalation paths, as needed
  • Draft minutes for AFC Governance facilitated forums


Skills You’ll Need


  • Experience with senior-level executives and forums
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; post-graduate a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail and ability to succinctly communicate complex issues in written materials
  • Problem solver with strong technical skills
  • AFC, Corporate Governance, Risk Management, or relevant experience, knowledgeable of regulatory obligations and industry standards in relation to AFC Governance and knowledgeable of applicable AFC laws and regulations, including Bank Secrecy Act


Skills That Will Help You Excel


  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Curiosity to understand the bigger picture
  • Experience in Corporate Governance or legal background a plus
  • Ability to capture key points / actions from fast paced discussion
  • Self-starter able to work independently


Expectations


It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $85,000 to $140,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
