Team Lead - Freight Forwarding

Logswift is a freight forwarding company that provides end-to-end quality services for reputable Shippers worldwide, such as international shipping, coordinating customs clearance, drayage, container trading, and depot services in North America. We set high standards for ourselves, and we are not only executing the tasks but also providing professional transportation and logistics advice to help our customers to save the cost. With the industry evolving, there are plenty of opportunities to rethink the industry, digitize our customers' supply chain and then optimize it.
With our growth ambition, we seek a customer service team leader passionate about communicating with customers and suppliers. Daily tasks include streamlining the process, negotiating tenders, and coordinating deliveries/appointments when needed. We believe nothing is perfect, and there is always room for improvement and innovation.
YOU
Have excellent written and communication skills in English and Chinese
Must speak Chinese
Are a problem solver, a pragmatist, a fast learner, not dogmatic
Are good at monitoring the team's performance and observing room for improvement. Experienced in negotiating with suppliers
Have +3 years of Shipping line and logistics background
Have an Intermediate level of Excel or Google Sheets
Think independently and love sharing ideas for improvements
The role will be part-time (20-30 hours a week) to start with
