As a key member of the Sonder Sales team, you will support our sales teams in two significant ways: 1. Coordinate and manage the booking process for group, corporate and extended stay reservations. 2. Coordinate B2B (Business to Business) revenue opportunities and activities as needed for the Sales Team.


The Team Lead, Inside Sales will be responsible for overseeing the inside sales team, motivating the team to achieve sales targets, developing processes to nurture and close sales, and expanding inbound sales coverage to maximize inbound revenue opportunities for Sonder Sales. The team lead will also be responsible for cultivating development opportunities for inside sales team members,


At Sonder You Will


  • Be agile. Have a keen sense to be able to multitask various tasks throughout their day. This includes
  • Ensure all standard sales processes are followed to accurately process revenue opportunities by segment, measure lead handle times, and track and monitor performance
  • Collaborate and partner with internal cross functional teams. This includes FinOps, Local city teams to drive efficiencies & marketing teams to explore additional revenue opportunities for driving quality inbound leads to pursue
  • Lead Inside sales organization through training and oversight of timely processing of revenue opportunities and associated deal activities across B2C and/or B2B reservations
  • Book and Coordinate activities associated with converted leads associated to all segments of inbound business. This can include management of groups from end-to-end, coordination of modifications, and extension requests for existing in house stays
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts for team to assist in driving growth and regularly evaluating sales practices to effectively generate and close sales opportunities
  • Lead Management processes and prioritization for handling of B2B and B2C leads, with ability to recommend and implement improvements to current practices as needed.
  • Book groups that are social in nature (ie. Weddings, bachelor parties, family reunions/retreats, social group gatherings

  • Strong ability to see projects through from beginning to end; an organized multi-tasker who thrives on managing multiple projects at the same time.

  • Proven ability to improve and/or streamline processes in a growing, changing, complex environment.
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of sales experience in the hospitality, travel, or real estate industry.
  • Super-communicator, both internally and externally, with strong interpersonal skills; Proven ability to collaborate and build strong relationships to drive partner satisfaction and growth.
  • Enjoys talking and building relationships with customers. Hospitality is part of your DNA.
  • Understanding of the hotel industry’s reservations landscape and segments
