Role Overview:


As a Vice President of Sales at Yellow Diamond Logistics, you will be a driving force in our quest for revenue growth and expanded market presence within the NVOCC sector. Your primary focus will be on developing and executing strategic sales initiatives, fostering client relationships, and contributing to the overall success of our logistics operations.


Responsibilities:


  • Identify and target large and enterprise customer accounts for new business development.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to ensure impeccable account management and customer service.
  • Research and analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify and cultivate new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with our dedicated account management team to ensure top-tier customer service and satisfaction.
  • Regularly report sales performance, revenue growth, and market expansion initiatives to management.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms to secure profitable business agreements with shippers.
  • Maintain precise customer records and provided comprehensive sales activity reports through our CRM system.
  • Develop and implement innovative sales strategies to drive hyper-revenue growth and surpass company sales quotas.
  • Lead the charge in sales efforts, achieving revenue growth and market share penetration
  • Prospect, network, and establish connections with existing and potential customers to expand your client portfolio.
  • Foster and nurture strong relationships with clients nationwide, ensuring sustained success and customer contentment.
  • Remain up-to-date with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to uncover growth prospects.
  • Conduct sales meetings, deliver impactful sales pitches, and successfully close new deals to exceed sales targets.


Experience and Qualifications:


  • Proficiency in CRM systems and other sales tools.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, evident in your ability to cultivate relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • An existing book of business in the NVOCC sector is a significant advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in 3PL sales and business development.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities to identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Outstanding presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-driven, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • A robust track record of successfully closing deals and achieving revenue targets.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
