Senior Human Resources Specialist

RieLes Group is seeking a Senior Human Resources Specialist for a Full-time Contract role supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs New Jersey Healthcare System. This is a telework role allowing remote work but will require travel to the office on occasion. Qualified individuals should be close to the NJ/NYC area.

As a Senior Human Resources Specialist in this role, you may be required to:

• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, healthcare providers, and regulatory agencies.
• Serve as liaison with Rutgers University to develop joint recruitment offers.
• Work closely with the executive team to develop and implement strategic plans to achieve company goals.
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure that the company's human resources operations are compliant and efficient.
• Develop and implement training programs to ensure that employees are knowledgeable and skilled in their roles.
• Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related issues, including performance management, employee relations, and compensation.
• Draft drafting position descriptions/functional statements based on business requirements.
• Preparing Resource Committee requests
• Oversee recruiting, hiring, and onboarding processes for all employees, including healthcare providers.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to healthcare and employment.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field.
• Ability to display knowledge of HRIS systems and their function.
• 5+ years of Human Resources experience.
• Experience using the full MS Office suite.
• Conflict resolution training or related experience.
• Knowledge of Federal Employment laws and tax codes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior Human Resource Management experience
• Experience as a civilian contractor for a Government Facility
