Contract: 6 to 12 months. This will be an OT EXEMPT position.


Remote opportunity. Prefer candidates in East Hanover, NJ, or San Francisco. However, they can be 100%. If the candidate is not local to these locations, they will be traveling 3 to 4 days a month.

Internal Job Title: HR Manager, M&A Organizational Design


  • Organization Design: Drive the overall organization process to design the future organization across all functional areas as we integrate our acquired businesses into clients.
  • Workforce Transition: Support identification of workforce transition needs, i.e., communicating new ways of working, changes in responsibility, need for upskilling/reskilling talent etc. in line with future role requirements. Ensure staffing continuity.
  • You will lead across 4 key areas (listed below) partnering with all functional groups (i.e., Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, HR, Finance, etc.) and their respective HR Business Partners both at client and the acquired businesses:
  • Talent Engagement/Retention: Support talent retention & engagement efforts throughout the integration process, in partnership with People Leads, as well as assimilating talent from acquired businesses into the client organization.
  • The role will work as a part of the Integration Management Office and report to the HR Lead for the overall Integration.
  • This role will lead organization design, talent placement and workforce transition as we integrate our largest acquired businesses into clients.
  • Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) will be a key driver of growth at Client.
  • Overheads Management: Manage organizational data (org charts, XLS data) and maintain data hygiene to ensure accuracy in overhead tracking vs. targets (in partnership with Finance).


Qualifications:

  • Prior Consumer Packed Goods (CPG) experience is valuable (but not essential)
  • Prior post-merger integration experience is highly desirable
  • Comfort with and enjoyment of working in a rapid fast-paced environment, leading change and complex transformation
  • Strong business acumen and leadership in HR, specifically leading organization design/talent placement in the context of large business transformations
  • Strong Excel skills required
  • Future-focused, thinking ahead and anticipating risks and opportunities.
  • 8 or more years of HR functional experience, including at least 5 years of organizational design experience
  • Ability to develop strong partnerships with partner senior function and HR leaders and influence without authority.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field
