Human Resources Generalist


At the VNA Health Group


The VNA HR Department brings a strong combination of dedication, expertise, and experience to the employee experience. Our Talent Management, Employee Relations, Engagement, HR Operations, and Clinical Education Teams provide a wide array of services so that our employees can bring their best selves to work, each and every day.


We are currently looking for an HR Generalist to join our team. The position would be responsible for providing full range of human resource services to VNAHG business sites with a heavy emphasis on recruitment and retention.

Among the Key Responsibilities for the HR Generalist position:


Experience With ADP WORKFORCE NOW (WFN) Preferred, Including


  • Entering data into WFN (e.g. new hires, status changes, terminations, salary adjustments, etc.) - Updating TPI (Time Position Info) data - Building and Running ADP WFN reports (standard and ad hoc) - Assist with auditing data with of various ADP reports - Prior user experience with ADP eTime preferred


Hr Admin


  • Unemployment requests -New hire onboarding processes -User experience of iCims -Verification of employment -Clinical and non-clinical license verification(s)


Benefits


  • Respond Benefit Plans and eligibility groups -Respond to general inquiries; eligibility, enrollments, claims issues. -Assist with open enrollment – email reminders, phone those in “Not -Completed” status -Be able to haste enroll via Horizon and CVS portals -Assist with Benefits related tasks as needed


The ideal candidate for the HR Generalist position will have the following qualifications:


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of standard concepts, practices and procedures within HR
  • 2-4 years of experience in Human Resources
  • Strong analytical and computer skills
  • Experience with ADP Workforce now highly preferred. Other HRIS experience will also be considered.
  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state and local employee laws and regulations
