Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Revise HR policies and procedures and articulate them for all subsidiary business WSC has in California, Washington, Oregon and Idaho
  • Create policies and standard operating procedures in accordance with HR methodologies and labor laws
  • Manages full-cycle recruitment for CA,WA,OR AND ID territories.
  • Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
  • Work closely with HR team members to ensure the Payroll system (ADP) and are current
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Maintain employee records in HR IT system and in accordance with applicable laws
  • Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
  • Implement Job analysis and create Job structure with managers.
  • Interpret and explain human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations on a daily basis to assist managers and employees


Experience Requirements / Competencies

  • Exceptional Communication Skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Minimum 2 years' HR Generalist experience (HRBP or Corporate HR Generalist) working within a multi-location environment
  • Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or relevant experience
