We're looking an energetic, strategic Human Resources Director to join our growing People Operations department! This person is accountable for successful operation of all disciplines within the department and will act as an employee champion and change agent to assess, recommend and anticipate HR-related needs.
A Day in the Life:
- In partnership with leadership, develop and support the implementation of Corporate HR solutions and programs
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Develop and manage the performance development process with clear goals, feedback and development paths
- Effectively coach team and leadership in matters relating to people, including compensation recommendations, HR processes, employment practices, employee relation matters and corporate HR initiatives
- Oversee all aspects of the employee life cycle, including onboarding, promotions, job changes, leaves of absence, relocations, immigration/visas, off-boarding and exit process
- Ensure department is periodically audited for compliance and that all HR processes are well-documented and maintained.
- Provide guidance and advice on employee relations issues, HR policy and practice, and legal risk. Understands the business and creates HR strategies to align with business goals.
- Gather, interpret, and analyze appropriate HR data; formulate plans and actions to address opportunities
- Ensure compliance with and highlight to wider team relevance of any legal or regulatory changes pertaining to labor, wage and hour, and employment laws, including manager communication/training.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring compliance
- Monitor and evaluate the corporate training program to ensure alignment with company culture and needs
- Oversee the coordination of competitive health and benefit programs
- Keep scale in mind when developing and recommending human resource programs, policies, procedures, and controls
- Provide leadership, direction, coaching that enables leaders to make sound decisions and promote employee engagement and positive employee relations
You Proudly Possess:
- Minimum eight (8) years’ multi-state human resources experience required
- A sense of urgency for anticipating/solving problems, the ability to manage multiple priorities at the same time
- Minimum three (3) years’ experience managing human resources matters in same or similar industry
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in related field required
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with global teams (preferred)
- Adaptability to fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environments while functioning independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to offer a flexible schedule to accommodate to business needs which may occur outside of traditional business hours
- Exceptional verbal, written and communication skills including proven ability to develop strong rapport and relationships quickly
