The Human Resources Manager plays a pivotal role in the organization, meticulously planning, coordinating, and directing its administrative functions. Their responsibilities extend to overseeing recruitment, conducting interviews, handling employee relations matters, managing open enrollment, and making hiring decisions for new staff. Beyond these operational duties, they actively consult with top executives on strategic planning, acting as a vital link between the organization's management and its employees. As a result, the HR Manager significantly contributes to the overall success of the company and plays a crucial role in shaping its culture.

Requirements


  • 4-5 years of experience in HR management or HRBP role.
  • HR certification is a PLUS (SHRM), but not required.
  • Bachelors degree in HR or related field
  • HRIS System Proficiency, Paycom experience a plus
  • Mental health and Substance work background is a plus, healthcare is a requirement


Responsibilities


  • Execute contract terms for new hires, promotions and transfers.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by Head of HR.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications as needed.
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
  • Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
  • Ensure staff stays in compliance license, 30 days, 90 and annual, licenses, CPR and any license and certification
  • Consults with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
  • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Conducts new hire orientation and employee recognition/wellness programs.
  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.


Salary: $70,000-80,000


Schedule: Full time, Monday to Friday


Location: Lawrenceville, NJ
