Rotex is hiring a Senior Human Resources Manager at our headquarters in Cincinnati, Ohio. We are seeking a self-motivated, strategic HR leader to partner with our HR COEs and Shared Services to help us evolve our HR and business strategies. This leader will own the HR function for the business, including employee relations, legal compliance, performance management, succession planning, and leadership advising.

Job Responsibilities
- Collaborates cross-functionally with many support areas including: Plant Management, Finance, Legal, HR COEs, HR Shared Services, and more.
- Leads employee relations investigations and partners with managers on disciplinary and performance issues.
- Act as a change agent to help manage people, deliver on objectives, cultivate a culture based on business values, and build relationships with key stakeholders.
- Translate HR strategy into programs, initiatives, and processes that are aligned to the company’s vision and objectives, and own implementation.
- Maintains effective employee relations through regularly interacting with personnel on the production floor, fostering rapport of trust with employees.
- Closely partner with plant management to own any labor relationships.
- Implement a high-performance culture via organizational design solutions, performance indicators, and improvement plans.
- Assist in succession planning, including developing a diverse talent pipeline for short-term and medium-term needs of the company.
- Participate in business planning and ensure alignment of HR delivery with business goals, proactively identifying people-related gaps and needs.
Supervisory Duties
- This role is required to directly supervise others. This will include, but not be limited to, performance management, daily task management, hiring, training and development, and more.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required (HR, Industrial Relations, Business, or related)
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience required
Preferences
- HR Certification preferred (PHR, SHRM, etc.)
- Ability to balance a strategic focus with a strong orientation toward process improvement and an analytical, detail oriented perspective
- Master’s degree preferred (HR, Labor Relations, Industrial Relations, or related)
- Labor Relations experience in a union environment is strongly preferred.
- Preferred prior experience in a manufacturing setting, or similar environment
