PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the administration of the performance management process, ensuring that managers are equipped to engage in constructive and ongoing feedback and coaching, and encourage staff to actively participate in identifying and addressing performance gaps.
- Lead and develop the human resources team.
- Perform routine compliance audits to recognize strengths and identify areas in need of improvement related to hiring and onboarding, performance management, compensation, termination and exit interviews, and personnel files.
- Collaborate with the learning and develop team to develop manager’s skills and competencies in areas related to human resources. Provide proactive training and guidance, clear processes for managing employee conflicts and misconduct, and handling and investigating complaints of unjust practice allegations.
- Partner with leadership team and use data analytics to develop, implement, and evaluate a human resources strategy to achieve the organization’s vision, mission, and goals.
- Ensure compliance with human resources related federal, state, and local legal requirements and advise the leadership team on needed actions to maintain compliance.
- Identify ways to increase staff retention and productivity, including strategies to enhance employee engagement, leadership and staff development, regular feedback and coaching, career pathing, and promoting a coherent organizational culture.
- Partner with the talent acquisition team on recruitment efforts to ensure that the organization is effectively and efficiently sourcing and selecting the right candidates. Create systems to attract talent, identify critical talent needs and engage leadership in succession planning.
- Maintain current knowledge and application of all relevant laws and regulations at the local, state, and national level relating to employment and ensure organizational compliance.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to design and implement a competitive compensation system to attract and retain staff.

- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Implement change initiatives related to human resources and other business processes and technologies.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
- Ability to provide thoughtful, progressive, and strategic guidance.
- Ability to listen, probe, and analyze to understand underlying needs and/or root cause of an issue.
- Strong interpersonal, communications, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to travel to other office locations as needed.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR system applications.
- Strong business acumen and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of employment laws and other compliance issues.
- Outstanding judgement, sensitivity, and high discretion.
