Recruiter Generalist

Position Summary:

• Conducts stay and exit interviews with resigning employees and coordinates the offboarding processing for all terminations
• Minimum 2 years in an HR services support or administrative role.
• Assists in administering staffing service model, coordinating benefits administration, compensation administration, and performance management processing
• Administers HRIS and Talent Acquisition systems, ensuring accurate digital records for employee profiles; Produces simple data reports as necessary.
• Essential Job Duties:
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or a related field required
• Education/Experience
• The HR Generalist will execute on both administrative and strategic responsibilities and provide service in critical employee experience areas including staffing and onboarding, training and development, compensation and benefits, and employee relations.
• Demonstrates problem-solving aptitude and high level of knowledge of HR procedures and policies
• Prepares paperwork, facilitates smooth new hire onboarding process, and coordinates with cross-functional departments to deliver an exceptional first-day employee experience
• Demonstrates excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, demonstrating ethical and cultural awareness
• Demonstrates advanced knowledge of MS Office, HRIS systems, and comfortable learning new technical systems as needed
• Works in all areas of UCAN people programming, executing personnel procedures and policies, and providing guidance and interpretation for business operations
• Serves as a resource to employees, providing consultation and answering questions on human resources and benefits related issues, referring them to other HR team members as appropriate.
• Demonstrates strong knowledge of HR laws and policies
• Ensures legal compliance of HR state and federal regulations and applicable employment laws, and updates policies and/or procedures as required
• Assists in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook, employee directory, and organizational charts, and contributes to the development of policies
