Job Description
Flexan is a global strategic contract manufacturer of custom high-quality silicone and thermoplastic components, sub-assemblies and devices designed to meet the critical requirements of Class I, Class II and Class III medical devices, as well as custom compounding and molding for precision parts.


The Sr. Human Resources Generalist will be part of the leadership team collaborating with senior management and other team members to drive a focus on human capital.


KEY ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITES:


  • Facilitates the onboarding and exit process for employees;
  • Participates in the development and execution of departmental goals and measurements that support the accomplishment of the company’s strategic goals.
  • Development of an employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes safety, quality, continuous improvement, and high performance.
  • In partnership with Corporate HR, manages the development and administration of programs, procedures, and guidelines
  • Monitors compliance of HR policy,
  • Partners with Leadership and Operations teams to oversee the safety of the workforce.
  • Supports the HR Team in the development and interpretation of policies and procedures

  • Provides HR customer service support to internal and external customers
  • Assists with the monitoring of the company wage and salary structure and the variable pay systems within the company
  • Partners with HR team and manages performance management process including the audit and tracking of performance documentation and coaching on performance and documentation.
  • Demonstrates all the Flexan corporate values:
  • Manages the recruitment process for all positions including partnering with temporary staffing and placement agencies
  • Prepares and maintains confidential personnel, medical, and training files of active and terminated employees in compliance with applicable legal requirements


Minimum Qualifications:


  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and practices
  • Experience in employee relations
  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree and/or HR Certification desirable
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Recruiting experience for hourly manufacturing roles.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Human Resources Generalist experience preferred
  • Experience in the administration of payroll, compensation, and benefits programs
  • Strong computers skills in Microsoft , including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Adobe
