Job Description
We are seeking a Provider Relations Representative (PR Rep) to join our dynamic team. As a PR Rep, you will play a pivotal role in managing our assigned Provider Network, forging strong partnerships with our clients on both risk and non-risk programs. Our ideal candidate is a relationship-builder who thrives on effective communication, strategic thinking, and conflict resolution. You will serve as the critical link between contracted health plans, providers, and ancillary providers, dedicated to delivering unparalleled customer service and ensuring smooth program operations.
Key Responsibilities
Cultivate and nurture relationships within assigned Provider Groups, fostering an atmosphere of open communication and innovative problem-solving.
Proactively address Provider Group needs, promptly and effectively handling concerns or complaints related to risk/non-risk programs to ensure ongoing satisfaction.
Develop strategic plans in collaboration with risk/non-risk groups to drive enrollment for specialized products tailored to individual Provider Groups.
Coordinate and lead meetings with Provider Group Office Managers and facilitate Care Team training sessions.
Collaborate with the Client, Account Manager, or VP of Account Management to introduce innovative strategies, communication channels, and reporting techniques across all Provider Groups.
Identify opportunities for process enhancements and increased participation in established risk/non-risk programs within Provider Groups.
Ensure all training sessions, reporting, compliance tasks, and site visits for Provider Groups are completed within established deadlines.
Oversee ongoing procedures, new integration processes, Provider Relations strategic planning, and utilization reporting.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and process enhancement, with a focus on leveraging technology and creative procedures to boost performance and productivity.
Maintain the Provider Relations database, ensuring it includes all participating physicians and ancillary providers for the assigned territory.
Conduct provider orientations and site visits within designated timeframes.
Represent our organization in a positive light, aligning with our mission, goals, and objectives. Collaborate as a supportive team player, setting an example of high personal and professional conduct for fellow managers and team members.
Requirements
A minimum of 3-4 years of relevant professional experience, including in health care services, managed care, or consulting, with at least 2-3 years of experience with delegated commercial models.
A valid Driver's License and vehicle are required. Ability to travel within the state for client meetings, up to 50%.
