Job Description
Are you passionate about making a difference in healthcare education and ensuring that professionals stay up-to-date with the latest industry standards? Join our team as a Healthcare Education Program Manager and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of healthcare education.
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Healthcare Education Program Manager to lead the development and delivery of written content for our healthcare education programs. You will ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation guidelines while maintaining a strong focus on academic writing standards. Your expertise will be essential in coordinating internal processes and collaborating with external curriculum developers to provide high-quality educational content.
Key Responsibilities
Content Development Oversight:
Lead the development and delivery of healthcare educational programming content.
Conduct research and analysis to identify relevant healthcare topics and industry trends.
Coordinate the selection and credentialing of content writers with healthcare expertise.
Review and approve contracts related to content development.
Maintain positive relationships with content writers and contractors.
Ensure content meets state, national, and accreditation requirements.
Accredited Provider Program Director (APPD)
Serve as the Accredited Provider Program Director for American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) accreditation.
Ensure compliance with ANCC accreditation requirements.
Act as the primary liaison between ANCC, Nurse Planner(s), and the provider unit.
Monitor and evaluate activities to ensure adherence to ANCC criteria.
Mentor team members in ANCC standards and criteria.
Content Development And Curriculum
Develop original content and curriculum for healthcare education.
Coordinate course evaluations and updates to maintain content accuracy.
Participate in educational program evaluation activities.
Assist in applications for accrediting organizations' approvals.
Serve as a nurse educator expert and consultant.
Brand Ambassador And Marketing
Represent the healthcare education program at networking events and conferences.
Contribute to written educational content for marketing efforts.
Participate in marketing strategic planning.
Engage in internal team meetings and policy development.
Requirements
Advanced knowledge of healthcare services, managed care, and health insurance.
Understanding of nursing practice scope and standards.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Ability to research, synthesize content, and apply it to curriculum.
Familiarity with video conferencing platforms.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of adult learning theories for online education.
Commitment to maintaining professional relationships.
Ability to promote our brand and deliver effective presentations.
Trustworthiness and autonomy in decision-making.
Willingness to travel to industry events.
Leadership and coordination skills.
Valid credentials and licensures.
