Job Description

Position Overview
We are looking for a Career Advisor who will play a pivotal role in providing recruiting, intensive case management, and follow-up services to job seekers.
Responsibilities
Provide intensive case management services to registered customers within the One-Stop system.
Enter and manage data in participant information systems as required.
Guide job seekers in creating individual employment plans based on their career goals.
Counsel clients on available job opportunities, training programs, and support services.
Complete Individual Training Account vouchers and necessary documentation for clients entering training programs.
Refer individuals to appropriate services, training programs, or job opportunities and ensure follow-up.
Conduct orientation sessions, workshops, job clubs, and group presentations for clients.
Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations related to eligibility documentation.
Maintain accurate individual case files for registered customers, including all required eligibility documents.
Provide referrals and track eligible customers into contracted programs.
Meet and exceed program benchmarks.
Participate in staff-related events, including training and meetings.
Approach each task with a proactive and customer-centric mindset.
Perform other duties and projects as needed.
Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED required.
1+ years of work experience involving elements of training, counseling, case management, or related services.
1+ years of case management experience and the ability to interpret policies and procedures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with a culturally diverse customer base.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
Preferred Skills/Knowledge
Bachelor's degree or higher or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Familiarity with WIOA youth contracts and programs.
Strong multitasking and proactive abilities.
Salary
$43,000 - $50,000 (Salary commensurate with education and experience)
Benefits

Travel
Position may require local travel, up to 50% of the time.
