Director Of Brand Marketing - Remote | Wfh

Position Overview: Join us as the Director of Brand Marketing and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the Sickies Garage brand. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic candidate with multi-unit restaurant or restaurant marketing experience, and a passion for cultivating relationships, forging creative partnerships, and evaluating the success of marketing campaigns. Key Responsibilities
Develop a comprehensive annual marketing calendar, encompassing new location openings, market-wide promotions, and other initiatives aimed at promoting and elevating the Sickies Garage brand.
Formulate execution plans for annual market-wide promotions, bringing fresh ideas and promotions to the table for team consideration. This includes internal communications to guide local stores, coordinating promotional POS materials, and more.
Coordinate and execute marketing plans for store openings, collaborating with local/regional agencies as necessary. Responsibilities include tailoring advertising strategies to the area, overseeing PR agencies for launches, coordinating with the social media team to align social media plans with openings, and additional marketing duties.
Supervise local store advertising contracts, such as billboards, radio ads, direct mail campaigns, and partnerships, ensuring optimal utilization and meticulous timeline management. Build strong relationships within each market.
Manage contracts and invoicing for marketing assets related to local store marketing and potential national marketing efforts. This entails review, payment processing, and coding.
Establish goals and oversee PR and advertising agencies when engaged. Negotiate media pricing and contracts to remain within budget while maximizing effectiveness.
Create, maintain, and update marketing budgets as required.
Oversee the development of marketing assets from external agencies, vendors, and partners to guarantee compliance with brand standards and maximize promotional potential.
Handle internal orders for marketing and graphic assets, including business cards, in-store signage, banners, hiring materials, menus, and other in-store requirements.
Continuously develop and enforce brand standards for uniformity across all markets.
Prioritize and address incoming marketing requests promptly.
Establish a brand image library for press and marketing image selections.
Collaborate with management to revamp the Rewards program, including scheduling promotions, creating compelling marketing collateral, and integrating marketing initiatives for impactful tie-ins.
Maintain a record of accolades received by the brand.
Continually review, plan, and schedule Sickies Garage marketing assets across various formats.
Measure, evaluate, and report on the results of marketing promotions.
Collaborate with management and agencies to manage crisis communication in the event of unforeseen situations.
Skills And Knowledge
A Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, or business is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience, with a background in restaurant marketing being advantageous. Experience working with agencies is a plus.
This is a fully remote position, although being located in one of our areas is advantageous.
Ability to travel, with approximately 30% travel required for maintenance visits and new location openings.
Experience in budget management, including cost tracking, invoice processing, etc.
Exceptional relationship-building skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to provide constructive feedback to local stores and agencies in alignment with brand objectives.
Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills to cater to the unique marketing needs of each location.
Proficient in project prioritization and management.
Ability to maximize results within budget constraints and communicate changes in budgetary needs effectively.
