Intermediate Budget Analyst - Remote | Wfh

As a part of our growing team, you'll be contributing to innovative approaches that support the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) at the Johnson Space Center.
Key Responsibilities
Your Responsibilities Will Include, But Are Not Limited To
As an Intermediate Budget Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient management of public funds.
Integrating business, cost estimating, and financial management processes to support strategic financial planning.
Preparing cost estimates and translating financing requirements into executable budgets.
Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of budget allocation, execution, and administration.
Evaluating products and procedures for compliance with government standards, accounting principles, and internal controls.
Assisting in the preparation of milestone status reports and presentations for various stakeholders.
Adapting to evolving deadlines and diverse assignments, consistently delivering work with precision.
Mentoring and guiding junior contractor budget analysts to aid in their professional development.
Leveraging your expertise to support multiple organizations and/or centers.
Required Experience/Skills
4+ years of specialized experience in budget analysis or a related field.
Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with accounting systems and processes.
Experience with activity-based costing, business case analysis, and outsourcing requirements.
Ability to grasp interrelationships between financial management requirements and automated solutions.
Education Requirements
Candidates for this position must possess a BA/BS degree.
