Order To Cash Consultant - B2B SAAS (Remote)

We are looking for an Order to Cash consultant to join our team and high-tech company. You will report to the Director, Order to Cash, and perform financial reporting reconciliations, monthly closings, business systems support and testing, and operational metrics tracking. You will also analyze financial data, provide reporting, support/train billers, and provide quality control on complex billing issues.

This is a six-month (extensions possible), 40-hours-per-week contract role. Remote in the US.

This is a W2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee (No C2C or sponsorship available), with health benefits, and 401K offered.

Key Responsibilities

• Creating, reviewing, and maintaining training documentation.
• Preparing and maintaining monthly end reporting
• Lead team training for process and system update implementation.
• Performing other duties & responsibilities, as assigned.
• Proactively collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify business issues and develop resolutions.
• Organize team-building activities.
• Performing system testing and resolution for newly developed functionality.
• Creating a collaborative environment to increase productivity and boost team satisfaction.
• Provides ongoing coaching and training to all levels of billers on systems, processes, and procedures.
• Perform complex ad hoc reporting required to inform and educate others to properly evaluate and resolve program billing issues.
• Provides quality control on complex billing issues.
• Performing thorough research and analysis to resolve complex issues and escalations, utilizing critical thinking to identify root causes & next steps to effectively implement a long-term solution.
• Assisting with monthly reconciliations for SOX compliance and month-end close reporting.
• Ability to work extra hours, specifically during the billing close cycle and for any ad hoc projects. Flexibility in working hours is a must.
• Analyzing process and business workflows to develop solutions for preventing delays, backlogs, and inefficiencies and minimizing internal control issues.
• Managing projects and organizing team initiatives by delegating, overseeing progress towards goals, and coaching team members as needed to ensure completion and accuracy.

Requirements

• Excellent organizational; time management; communication; interpersonal skills.
• Data consolidation, subtotal, pivot tables
• Advanced technical skills in Google Sheets or Excel (we are a GSuite environment);
• EST, CST or PST would be fine for this role. Work hours would be 8-5 or 9-6.
• Experience with Salesforce & NetSuite
• Conditional formatting, data validation (dropdown list, and warning error message)
• SUMIF, SUMIFS, V-Lookup, Arrays, etc.
• Logical and nested functions (IF, AND, OR, functions in formulas)
• Understanding of SOX guidelines.
• 3+ years prior professional experience within Finance, Billing, Accounting, or similar.
• Self-motivated, accountable, and taking ownership of business requirements.
• Ability to manage through ambiguity.
• Ability to efficiently navigate GSuite file-sharing programs like Google Docs and Drives.
• Strong analytical skills: the ability to see trends, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements via business process or technology enhancements.
• Detail-oriented; ability to successfully manage multiple tasks & projects, within a deadline-driven environment, while achieving a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to read and interpret contracts for billing purposes.
