Senior Business Analyst - Risk Analytics (Open To C2C)

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with extensive experience in the Investment Management industry with special expertise in Investment Risk Analytics.

Visa Status:

• USC/GC
• C2C is okay
• H1B/TN/EAD

Compensation:

• Open(All rates commensurate with experience are welcome)

Responsibilities:

• Presentation of requirements to architects and developers to arrive at appropriate technical solutions and cost estimates
• Deliver business analysis for assigned projects, using the appropriate analysis artifacts to include Use Cases and Activity Diagrams
• Maintain an understanding of the Client’s requirements for investment risk analytics
• Understand both qualitative and quantitative aspects of testing needs and be able to define acceptance criteria and outcome-based sign-off approach.
• Ability to define testing frameworks/environments for large and disparate data sets, side-by-side comparison, and lead strategy to develop them.
• Agreement of detailed business requirements with the business
• Production of functional specifications

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Experience in large-scale scale risk analytics implementations
• Expert Knowledge of investment risk analytics
• 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in an Investment Management or Investment Services organization or Hedge Fund
• Strong SQL skills
• Experience with Charles River/State Street, Bloomberg PORT/MARS

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in one or more technology vendor packages used in the Investment Management industry – Eagle STAR/PACE, CRD, Bloomberg AIM, Blackrock Aladdin, SimCorp, Portia
• CFA CIPM(Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement) certification
• MBA degree or CFA qualification
• Ability to code in Python or Java
