Job Description

Our client, a highly regarded Fortune 500 company, has enlisted our assistance in recruiting an innovative data-driven order management analyst. This position will be offered as a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity, allowing the candidate to work remotely from any location. However, it is essential that the candidate's working hours align with Eastern Standard Time (EST)


Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain customer data and invoicing status in various Excel files.
  • Process customer orders received through various platforms promptly and accurately.
  • Execute weekly order processing, ensuring timely delivery and resolving any order-related issues.
  • Conduct Ad-hoc reporting for 3rd party sourced inventory.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance order management efficiency and drive resolutions.
  • Communicate with customers regarding service interruptions and resolutions.
  • Proactively communicate with 3PL partners on order issues or trends affecting logistics operations.
  • Address inbound/outbound electronic communication issues in partnership with relevant teams.
  • Manage chargebacks, returns, policy fines, and shortages, keeping records updated.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain to proactively prevent customer shortages and plan substitutions.
  • Coordinate order sizing and truck building, adhering to Company and Customer policies.
  • Adhere to internal control procedures during order processing.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for order-to-cash related deductions with the Accounts Receivable team.
  • Resolve delivery interruptions or issues with third-party logistics teams.
  • Support the Sales Team in customer engagements for improvement projects.

  • Efficiently complete daily order management tasks.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills, prioritization abilities, and effective communication.
  • Exhibit exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to identify opportunities for enhancement.


Qualifications:

  • Required: ERP experience; SAP experience preferred. Excel experience; comfortable with V-Lookups and Pivot tables
  • Preferred: College or University degree.
  • Willingness to travel within the US (5-10% per year).
  • Ability to adapt to the ever-changing e-commerce landscape.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
