Meet The Team


As Strategic Account Executive for the commercial organization at Dexcom, you will work to drive adoption of Dexcom’s expanding portfolio with identified target IDNs, health systems, Chronic Condition Management partnerships, and other clinical and fiscal bearing entities. The role requires advanced knowledge of healthcare value drivers, business contracting, and building consensus among internal and external stakeholders.


Where You Come In


  • Comply with all Company policies as well as other Company policies which may be implemented from time to time.
  • This position assumes and performs other duties as assigned
  • Lead efforts to optimize access for patients who benefit from CGM therapy through advocacy, education, and collaboration in partnership with Dexcom cross functional teams and customer stakeholders
  • Identify trends and needs of health systems across digital and population health initiatives to advance and align Dexcom’s solutions and value proposition
  • Responsible for identifying the needs of IDN/health systems and their key stakeholders to align Dexcom products and solutions to provide value-add solutions
  • Through personal business development activities and coordination with other sales channels within Dexcom, identify opportunities to engage organizations by assisting with their identified gaps in healthcare delivery and/or strategic goals and initiatives
  • Collaborate with Dexcom medical science and clinical teams to provide relevant evidence and trends to support health system goals and performance measures


What Makes You Successful


  • Advanced IDN/Health System experience and operational understanding
  • High preference for candidates with well established IDN/Health System relationships
  • Extensive experience in Diabetes disease state and related interventions


Travel Required


  • 25 to 50%


Commercial Salary Details


The annualized base salary for this role i s $ X135,100 to $225,100. Final yearly compensation package will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, business needs, market demand, geographic location, and employee’s ability to meet or exceed established performance-based incentive benchmarks. The potential value of incentive-based compensation can be significant when target benchmarks are met.


Experience And Education


  • At this level a graduate degree may be desirable with 4 years of related experience.
  • Typically requires a Bachelors degree and a minimum of 8-12 years of related experience.
