TheyDo is a fully remote SaaS B2B organisation, pioneering a brand new category in software: Customer Journey Management. In December we announced our ‘Series A’ funding round, at €12m. Our angel investors include executives from Intercom, Miro, and Calendly. We serve enterprise customers such as IBM, Cisco and Atlassian. We’re a small but mighty team, and in 2023 we will triple our headcount.
We’re looking for someone motivated to join a fast-growing, customer-led growth team as one of our first sales team hires! Are you someone looking to make their mark? Our sales are generated by turning interest into users who want to become customers. We are pioneering a customer-centric approach to PLG. Please note, applicants must be based in the EST timezone (in order to overlap with the majority of our team in Europe).
What you will do:
This is a sales role - you’ll be helping customer experience teams, product managers and design experts to adopt TheyDo into their organisations.
- Communicating transparently - as we are remote, using asynchronous messaging to keep people in the loop is essential
- You cover key talking points and show examples of how our tools work (which we’ll teach you)
- Once qualified by you, you help navigate your opportunities through the buying journey
- You'll take meetings with prospects, understand their challenges and to see if TheyDo would solve them
- You have a high Hustle Rate: A high level of output creating results
- Communicate your insights with the product and marketing team so they can act on this.
- You’ll be responsible for the entire sales lifecycle, from nurturing inbound leads to closing deals at net new companies. Achieving monthly and quarterly targets
- You’ll identify and engage key stakeholders within the opportunity and you’ll be comfortable speaking to both champions and engaging senior leadership
- Find improvements to how we enable people to become customers
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in enterprise B2B SaaS sales
- Coachable - how quickly do you learn and how quickly can you form new habits?
- 4+ years of closing experience is a hard requirement to be successful in this role (and more non-closing sales experience is great!)
- If one thing describes you, it is grit. You love a to set a goal and go for it
- Emotional intelligence and collaboration are a must
- Digitally Savvy - experience with Hubspot, Email, Slack and Notion
- Ingenuity skills with an ability to teach people about our solutions
- Ambiguity & Adaptability - We are an early stage startup - things change week over week, so does the product. Does that excite you or stress you out?
- Nice to have - sales experience within a product-led growth motion
What we offer:
- Home office or co-working support - we offer everyone the choice of home office reimbursement (one-off, up to $1,000) or co-working support (up to $300 p/m)
- Fully remote working with flexible hours - we're staunch advocates for autonomy and flexibility. Work from anywhere in EST within the US.
- Professional development reimbursement - we value learning and are happy to support you with books/conferences/courses that will benefit you in your role
- Continuous growth of our benefits package as we continue to grow in size
- Company events - we regularly connect in-person to strategize, reflect or simply have fun. Our most recents offsites were held in Belgium and the Netherlands
- Flexible holiday days - we love what we do, and equally love taking a break. We expect you to take a minimum of 25 days per year (in addition to public holidays)
- Paid parental leave - we'll provide financial support and time off for you to bond with the newest little members of your family (6 months for the primary carer, and 6 weeks for the secondary carer - fully paid)
- Latest Tech & Tools - Macbook Air, Pro or laptop, we want you to have the equipment that you’re most comfortable with. We use tools such as Gather, Slack, Notion, Loom, G:Suite and naturally TheyDo to work collaboratively and asynchronously
- Mental health/wellness reimbursement - we support you in looking after your body/mind (meditation, mindfulness, or a yoga/gym membership, up to $30 p/m)
- Competitive compensation and 'Series A' pre-IPO equity - we like to give our employees ownership with our stock package. When TheyDo succeeds, we all succeed
