Medical Scribe - Remote | Wfh

We are seeking a talented Medical Scribe to join our dynamic team! As a Medical Scribe, you will play a vital role in accurately transcribing the physician's dictation into comprehensive reports. Your keen attention to detail will be essential in detecting discrepancies, conducting investigations, and editing the reports for precision. You will collaborate closely with physicians to ensure the final reports meet their approval.
In addition to transcription duties, you will have the opportunity to work with our advanced technologies, such as the Speech Q Work Administration module and Amicas, to efficiently search for patient reports and input them into our system. You may also be involved in generating insightful work flow reports using Speech Q. As part of our commitment to excellent patient care, you may occasionally support the clinic's daily operations and perform other essential clerical tasks as needed. Flexibility to work at different locations within the Ventura market may be required.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:
Preferably, two (2) years of experience as a Transcriber; or equivalent experience in Medical transcription within a fast-paced hospital or outpatient setting, with knowledge of billing and coding practices.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Proficient in expert medical terminology.
Strong keyboarding skills and proficiency in using computer equipment and software, along with familiarity with standard office equipment.
Ability to transcribe and edit quickly and accurately, demonstrating precision in your work.
