We are seeking a skilled Web Developer to join our team on a temporary basis, working remotely. In this role, you will combine your expertise as a technical specialist with your consultative approach to collaborate with our business partners. Your mission will be to craft captivating and effective web experiences that align with our partners' objectives. Through your technical prowess, you'll ensure the delivery of user-friendly, stable, fast, and scalable digital solutions.
Responsibilities
Marketing Department Support: Content Creation and Maintenance
Utilize a CMS system to upload and maintain content.
Design and showcase web content for diverse enterprise web applications, including advisor workstations, Intranet, marketing automation systems, static websites, and email marketing campaigns.
Innovate interactive experiences that bolster marketing campaigns, employee engagement, and communication initiatives.
Regularly review content to identify outdated, irrelevant, or inconsistent materials. Collaborate with business partners to update, remove, or verify the accuracy of existing content.
Application Team Support: Interface Design and User Experience Enhancement
Collaborate with the IT team to design user interfaces for web-based applications.
Develop interactive components to present JSON data through JQuery/HTML/CSS and other relevant technologies.
Establish and uphold web guidelines.
Participate in QA testing and PROD approvals to facilitate application releases.
Ensure cross-browser compatibility and adherence to standards.
Diagnose display issues and provide effective solutions.

Required Technical Skills
Proficiency with CMS systems (Alfresco and Drupal 8) for content management and deployment, encompassing HTML fragment development and CMS template design/integration.
Proficiency in web-based programming languages such as HTML (including HTML 5) and CSS 2/3 (sample work available).
Mastery of best practices for speed enhancement, graceful degradation, and compatibility improvement.
Skilled in coding layouts using HTML/CSS, favoring modern techniques over table designs.
Expertise in crafting responsive designs.
Experience in integrating with Salesforce, CMS, and marketing automation systems using REST services/Web API.
Ability to assimilate JSON data into the presentation layer.
Familiarity with DOM HTML objects and their properties.
Understanding of web activities and internet techniques.
Knowledge of technical requirements for email marketing and banner promotion.
Proficiency in building using Model-View-Controller (MVC) methodologies.
Proficient in object-oriented JavaScript programming.
Familiarity with CSS/JavaScript frameworks and preprocessing (Sass/LESS).
Understanding of Node.js, Angular.js, Backbone, and Bootstrap.
Conceptual grasp of server protocols/management.
Familiarity with programming techniques specific to front-end development.
