The Role
You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of caregiving in California. You will be responsible for teaching adult learners a wide range of topics relevant to the long-term care industry, including both theory and practical skills essential for delivering quality care in skilled nursing facilities. You may conduct in-person clinical instruction in non-traditional classroom settings, such as skilled nursing facilities, and deliver online theory instruction via live instructor-led sessions on Zoom.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans based on approved theory and clinical modules.
Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
Monitor student attendance and progress, providing guidance and support as needed.
Maintain a conducive learning environment and model professional behavior.
Administer and correct tests, provide instructional counseling, and oversee clinical training.
Collaborate with staff to resolve issues affecting student training and retention.
Conduct retention calls, texts, or emails to ensure student participation.
Complete and update student records accurately.
Offer remediation and tutoring sessions when necessary.
Schedule and monitor make-up hours for missed clinical days.

Qualifications
Valid nursing license.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Nursing Experience.
1-year verifiable experience as a licensed nurse providing care in a healthcare setting.
Bachelor's degree in education or health-related fields preferred.
Verifiable completion of a course in teaching adults or equivalent.
2 years of verifiable experience teaching adults and 1-year supervising nurse aides.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Google Drive, and Zoom.
Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team, including irregular hours and travel.
