Summary
We are seeking an intelligent, experienced, and motivated Data Strategist to join our San Diego team.
The Data Strategist's primary responsibilities include developing digital media strategies, designing and executing data acquisition plans, assisting with media reporting, and leading data analysis on key accounts. This individual will take charge of campaign tracking and execution strategies while also outlining the broader data intelligence framework for our clients. The Data Strategist will play a crucial role in developing annual client business roadmaps in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
This is a hybrid work from home/office position, with in-office attendance required on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Candidates must reside near San Diego, CA.

What You’ll Do
Design and collaborate on data collection strategies for clients, utilizing in-market media or other approaches.
Coordinate with the media department to align media tracking infrastructure with campaign KPIs.
Perform data analysis for media reporting, strategic inquiries, and creative optimization.
Present insightful analysis to clients through engaging and informative presentations, involving cross-departmental collaboration.
Lead and collaborate with clients to implement findings and plan strategic next steps.
Develop in-market media testing frameworks to yield statistically significant results for media, creative, and audience optimization.
Effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure support for data acquisition campaigns.
Cultivate strong relationships with internal teams, including account services, operations, development, media, creative, and other relevant functions.
Actively contribute to and support long-term data department objectives.
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor's Degree in Data Analysis, Marketing Data & Analytics, Communications, or a related field; alternatively, 2-4 years of equivalent work experience in a Data Coordinator or similar role.
A mindset geared towards experimentation and structured testing.
Familiarity with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
A desire for continuous learning, embracing new skills and processes.
Abilities in creative and analytical thinking, multitasking, prioritization, organization, and attention to detail.
The ability to maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced work environment, proactively solve problems, and extract relevant analytical insights from data.
Adaptability to changing client and department needs.
Leadership skills to influence strategic discussions with both internal and external stakeholders.
A holistic approach to accounts and projects, balancing daily tasks with long-term strategies.
