We are a leading U.S.-based digital marketing agency dedicated to helping businesses thrive in the digital landscape. We're in search of an Account Manager who will play a pivotal role in developing and nurturing client relationships, fostering growth, and ensuring client satisfaction. This is a fully remote position, and applicants from all 50 U.S. States are eligible to apply.
Essential Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for all customized account management needs.
Cultivate and maintain strong, enduring client relationships.
Offer expert advice on digital marketing strategies and channels.
Develop trusted advisor relationships with key clients, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors.
Ensure our engagements meet company margin goals.
Forecast and monitor key account metrics, such as quarterly sales results and annual forecasts.
Spearhead the roadmap for the Account Management department.
Oversee client onboarding, support, adoption, advocacy, retention, renewals, and up-sells.
Encourage collaboration within the team and across marketing verticals.
Manage client services outcomes to boost retention rates and reduce churn.
Collaborate with internal teams to effectively resolve client issues and provide strategic solutions.
Increase revenue within accounts through cross-selling and up-sell opportunities.
Take ownership of the client upsell and renewal process from start to finish.
Achieve assigned upsell goals.
Influence client lifetime value through exceptional customer satisfaction, loyalty, and NPS performance.
Drive new business growth by enhancing advocacy and reference-ability.
Lead client check-in calls and quarterly business reviews.
Manage client feedback and insights through surveys, executive sponsor sync calls, exit surveys, and more.
Coach production teams through pre-call syncs, on-call feedback, post-call syncs, and consistent identification of growth opportunities for the entire account team.
Required Qualifications
Demonstrated work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager, or a relevant role.
Proven ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all organizational levels, including executives and C-level.
Track record of successfully managing multiple account management projects while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
Strong negotiation, presentation, and listening skills.
Experience delivering client-focused solutions to meet customer needs.
Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Hubspot).
5+ years of client account management or client success experience.
5+ years of sales and business development experience.
5+ years of experience working in digital marketing.
Experience managing multiple agency clients/accounts.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively convey ideas and solutions to internal and external customers.
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a closely related field.
Keen attention to detail with the ability to see the bigger picture.
Proven ability to build strong rapport with clients.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead a team or department.
Excellent problem-solving abilities.
Effective organizational and time management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
