General Summary: We're seeking an enthusiastic individual with a proven track record of establishing impactful email marketing acquisition and retention programs. As a pivotal member of our team, you'll significantly contribute to our subscription and direct-to-consumer business growth. In this role, you'll lead the development and execution of compelling email and SMS strategies to engage, retain, and attract subscribers.
The Director of Email Marketing will leverage data-driven insights to optimize email campaigns, partnering with marketing and eCommerce teams. Your responsibilities will encompass expanding customer lists, implementing segmentation, refining strategies, and boosting revenue through email outreach.
This role entails spearheading email and SMS engagement throughout the customer journey, enhancing satisfaction, and maximizing lifetime value by improving retention, upselling, reorders, and average order value.

Primary Responsibilities
Develop, execute, track, and optimize lead capture, email, and SMS campaigns for existing customers.
Strategize and oversee cross-brand email and SMS campaigns for lapsed customers, enhancing customer lifetime value.
Elevate customer LTV through effective campaigns, utilizing A/B testing and industry trends.
Own email and SMS tracking, interpreting KPIs, and translating insights into actionable strategies.
Regularly present KPIs and analysis to internal stakeholders, including creative teams and executives.
Collaborate with external agencies and vendors to analyze and optimize campaigns.
Identify reporting needs with Analytics, Finance, and ESPs for performance improvement.
Manage campaigns supporting key business objectives across various channels and programs.
Qualifications
7+ years of Digital Marketing experience, particularly in Email & SMS, Affiliate, Loyalty, and Retention programs.
Proven success in building email marketing strategies from scratch.
Proficiency in email marketing best practices, A/B testing, privacy laws, and related tools.
Strong data analysis skills for segment optimization.
Experience with CRM, predictive analytics, and subscription models.
Direct marketing experience in consumer beauty and health products.
Skillful in crafting customer-oriented communications and messaging.
Highly analytical, with a focus on results-driven testing.
Familiarity with Klaviyo, Demandware, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Google Analytics, Looker, and BI is a plus.
