Position: HR Generalist
Job Summary
As an HR Generalist with us, you will play a pivotal role in partnering with our HR Business Partners and leaders within your designated business unit. Your primary responsibility will be to execute human capital and organizational strategies that attract, develop, and engage our team members. By aligning these strategies with our business goals, you will contribute to the overall advancement of our organization. This position offers you the exciting opportunity to devise solutions for a range of complex HR challenges affecting both your division and the entire organization. Collaborating closely with our Teammate Services Centers of Excellence, you will provide value-added services in areas such as employee relations, performance management, training & development, compensation and benefits, talent management, and employment law. This is a hybrid remote role that requires reporting to our offices or area clinics at least 3 days per week.
Key Responsibilities
Foster regular communication through meetings with the respective business units.
Offer HR guidance to leaders, aligning with their needs.
Collaborate with the HR team to analyze trends and metrics, driving the development of effective solutions, programs, and policies.
Conduct thorough investigations and resolutions for complex employee relations issues, maintaining meticulous documentation.
Uphold a comprehensive understanding of legal requirements, ensuring regulatory compliance in day-to-day teammate management.
Provide hands-on performance management support to leaders, including coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions.
Enhance work relationships, boost morale, and elevate productivity and retention through close collaboration with management and teammates.
Offer guidance on HR policies and ensure their accurate interpretation.
Support M&A activities by aiding in transaction preparation, onboarding new teammates, and integrating business units into TOI.
Contribute insights on business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning.
Identify training needs and provide executive coaching as required.
Fulfill additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities
Preferred healthcare experience.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
Meticulous organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
Ability to interpret and apply relevant laws, guidelines, and regulations.
Proficiency in understanding organizational hierarchy, job roles, qualifications, compensation practices, and administrative procedures.
Excellent time management skills with a track record of meeting deadlines.
Proficiency in analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education And Experience
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Previous HR or relevant experience.
Minimum of 1 year resolving complex employee relations issues within Human Resources or similar capacity.
Working knowledge of various HR disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state employment laws.
Preferred SHRM or HRCI certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, APHR, PHR, SPHR).
Healthcare Experience Preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Extended periods of desk-based work using a computer.
Occasional lifting of up to 15 pounds.
Travel Requirements
Hybrid remote role requiring at least 3 days per week reporting to our offices or area clinics.
Local area travel expected.
Up to 25% out-of-state travel may be required.
Salary Range
The estimated salary range is $60,000 to $75,000 USD. Actual salary determination considers factors such as location, skills, years of experience, and internal salary benchmarks.
