Health Educator - Remote | Wfh

We are looking for a Health Education Specialist to join our team and contribute to our mission.
Job Overview
You will work under the guidance of the Manager of Health Education, to develop, implement, and manage Health Education programs. You will collaborate with our dedicated Quality Improvement team to research, develop, and execute health education and disease management materials that empower our members to lead healthier lives.
Key Responsibilities
Research, develop, and implement health education and disease management materials in partnership with Communications and colleagues.
Identify health education program needs based on member requirements and quality improvement initiatives.
Make recommendations for the translation and facilitation of key program components.
Review and update materials and programs, including preventive care guidelines, incentive packets, the Plan website, and communications to providers.
Participate in presenting materials to the Material Review Committee twice a month.
Develop and maintain the Health Education Library on our website.
Coordinate member care from call tracking boxes and Health Education voicemail, connecting members with appropriate programs and resources.
Represent at various external activities, including Immunization, EPSDT, Chronic Condition Collaborative, and other workgroup meetings.
Collaborate with grant recipients, state, and local entities working towards improving health, such, and Healthy People-Healthy Communities.
Engage in planning and project work to further goals, including HEDIS activities, strategic planning, and special projects.
Qualifications
Education: Associate degree in a health-related field or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in Health Education.
Skills And Abilities
Adaptability and flexibility to change, responsive to new ideas and approaches.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications
Education: Bachelor of Science in Health Education, Health Promotion, or Public Health.
Experience: Managed Care experience and knowledge of the Medicaid population are a plus.
Compensation
Pay Range: $18.04 - $35.17
Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level.
