What does the role entail?
The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for greeting and assisting all resort colleagues, applicants and visitors along with maintaining the day-to-day administrative function of a highly active Human Resources office. Organizational skills and ability to multi-task are necessary to be successful in this role. The Human Resources Coordinator will also handle special projects, coordinate colleague events, maintain the office environment and provide support for a variety of office administrative functions including but not limited to:
- Assisting with day-to-day payroll inquiries and processing.
- General administration such as screen calls, digital filing, heavy data entry, and mail.
- Ensuring data integrity for all Human Resources systems.
- Maintaining files and providing support for the employment process.
- Spearhead employee events and orientations.
- Keep control and maintain of office supplies and equipment.
Qualifications
Your experience:
- Must be proficient in general computer knowledge.
- Bilingual – Spanish preferred.
- Refined verbal and written communication skills.
- Previous Human Resources experience or hospitality related experience preferred.
- Excellent customer service and relationship building skills.
- Proficient public speaking skills.
- A desire to expand into all HR functions and processes.
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, as well as social media applications.
- Continuous authorization to work in the U.S.
