Job Description

Pacific Staffing is recruiting a driven Human Resources Coordinator who is looking to grow with a tenured HR department. The organization is a premier Real Estate and Development company who services the northern CA region. The Human Resources Coordinator will support HQ Human Resources with multiple tasks in Talent Acquisition (Recruitment), Benefits Administration and other general HR coordination. $25-30/hour DOE.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process password reset requests in UKG system for employees.
  • Build and provide custom reports to enhance and support both HR Team and Management Team
  • Update Principal 401k Administrative Site with New Hires and Terminations.
  • Collaborate with HR Team and Payroll on the Annual Benefits Open Enrollment.
  • Prepare and send employee Offboarding/Termination packets.
  • Send pre interview assessment and follow up communication to applicants for openings; send completed candidate information to hiring managers for review.
  • Update and Distribute the Corporate Office Telephone List and Employee Directory on internal SharePoint Site.
  • Send eligible New Hires benefit program information eligibility and 401(k) Plan eligibility emails.
  • Annually Distribute All Updated Federal and State Labor Posters to all Community Sites and Construction Project Sites.
  • Process Employment Verifications for employees.
  • Send Adverse Action Letters to applicants no longer in process/and withdrawal of offers of employment.
  • Perform Special HR projects and other duties as requested.
  • Processing all employee changes in UKG including new hires and terminations.
  • Complete and Mail EDD Unemployment and Disability Claim forms.
  • Process Final Checks in UKG, including accurate calculation of accrued/unused. paid time off payout and preparation of termination packets.
  • Responsible for posting new positions in UKG and external job board sites.
  • Manage the department HR and Recruiting Outlook inboxes.
  • Process the bi-monthly 401(k) Plan eligibility report.
  • Support recruiting functions by monitoring job openings for new applicant’s disposition candidates and contact those who are qualified to schedule initial phone screens.


SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2yrs experience in Human Resources or Recruiting/Hiring administration experience with HR certification.
  • HRIS and ATS system experience a plus, UKG system preferred.
  • Must be able to clear a drug screen and background check.
  • Proficiency in all MS Office Applications, including MS Teams and Excel required (assessment will be given).
  • Bachelors in science (BS) Degree education preferred.
