Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing payroll, maintaining employee records, and providing support to employees and managers.
Responsibilities
Process payroll accurately and on time using Zenefits
Maintain current knowledge of wage and hour rules and regulations
Interview and evaluate job applicants
Develop and maintain relationships with employment agencies, universities, and other recruitment sources
Prepare And Maintain s
Design and conduct new employee orientations
Recommend, develop, and schedule training and development courses
Provide advice and assistance to employees and managers on company policies and procedures
Resolve payroll and HR-related issues
Maintain employee records
Conduct research and investigations into operational issues
Onboard and train new employees
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
2+ years of experience in payroll processing
Working knowledge of Zenefits
Strong PC skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and the internet
Strong work ethic and team player
High degree of professionalism
Ability to deal sensitively with confidential material
Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication and customer service skills
Ability to communicate with various levels of employees, including management
Excellent problem solving/judgment skills, and high level of attention to detail and accuracy
Must be self-motivated
Ability to analyze data and provide recommendations
Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public
