What You'll Do
You will play a vital role in forging impactful collaborations with post-secondary institutions, crafting diverse pathways into education for aspiring educators. You'll be at the forefront of implementing specialty programs and initiatives that support continued education and credentialing, while always keeping the values of equity and inclusion. With an entrepreneurial spirit, you'll strategize, plan, and manage projects that attract and empower BIPOC teacher candidates, fostering a more diverse and representative teaching community.
Responsibilities
Oversee the successful execution of the Urban Teachers program in partnership with prestigious universities.
Act as a liaison between Urban Teachers and partner institutions, fostering a strong and collaborative relationship.
Develop pioneering partnership programs that create new opportunities for aspiring educators at various academic levels.
Champion diversity and inclusion by promoting programs that attract and support BIPOC teacher candidates.
Ensure compliance with all district and state regulations, guaranteeing seamless program operations.
Collaborate with key teams within Urban Teachers and partner universities, ensuring the success of our collective mission.
Your Qualifications
We are looking for dedicated individuals who thrive in fast-paced urban environments and believe wholeheartedly in our mission. If you possess the following skills and qualifications, we would love to have you on our team:
A Master's degree or higher, showcasing your commitment to continued learning.
Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
Experience in PK – 12 and/or higher education settings, fostering valuable insights into the world of teaching.
The ability to lead and collaborate with diverse teams, making a positive impact on operations and culture.
A passion for equity, inclusivity, and an active commitment to anti-racism.
A deep belief in the transformative power of education and a dedication to lifelong learning.

Location & Compensation:
This position is open to remote candidates, with a preference for those based in the vibrant Baltimore/DC metro areas. We offer competitive compensation starting at $102,109, and we are committed to equity, ensuring fair and inclusive salaries for all team members.
