Job Description
Founded in 2006, our organization is a distinguished management consulting company specializing in Training Development, Technical Assistance, Human Capital Solutions, IT Services, and PMO work. We are in search of a dedicated and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our growing team.
Security Clearance: Not Required
Location: Rockville, MD (Company Headquarters) with the option for remote work.
Travel: Minimal travel required (less than 10%)
Role Overview
As a Project Manager at our organization, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing project staff, resource allocation, quality control, and mentoring. Your responsibilities will include managing labor distribution, providing guidance to the executive team on project-related matters, and ensuring the timely completion of contract requirements to the client's satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive oversight of project staff, assigning resources to tasks, and maintaining quality control of work products.
Mentor staff in their professional development and manage labor distribution effectively.
Advise the executive team on project-related matters and contribute to strategic decision-making.
Ensure that all contract requirements and tasks are completed on time and within budget.
Develop and manage project budgets and work breakdown structures.
Create and maintain project support documentation, integrated project schedules, and performance measures.
Foster positive relationships with clients and project stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and awareness of work schedules.
Implement quality assurance measures and oversee quality control for all project deliverables.
Manage remote staff, ensuring their availability during core project hours.
Required Skills And Experience

Experience in leading and collaborating within cross-functional teams, building relationships, and promoting teamwork.

Experience in recruiting, training, and managing full-time staff and consultants.
Proficiency in setting expectations and communicating effectively with internal staff, client staff, and contractor staff.
Required Education
Bachelor's degree (BA or BS)
Highly Desired Qualifications
Master’s or PhD
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Certificate or degree in Instructional Design
Experience in Emergency Management field
Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) training and/or experience
Interest in or experience with business development tasks and activities
Experience managing complex projects
Government contracting experience
Proficiency in MS Office applications
