Embrace innovative teaching methods and utilize modern technology to enhance the learning experience.
Participate in professional development opportunities, staying up-to-date in the rapidly evolving field of psychology.
Cultivate an inclusive and student-centered environment that accommodates diverse learning styles.
Develop effective assessment tools to monitor student progress and provide timely feedback.
Orient students to the course, ensuring a smooth and engaging start to their learning journey.
Communicate important course details, key dates, and any adjustments to ensure a cohesive learning experience.
Comply with attendance and grading requirements, keeping accurate and timely records of student performance.
Collaborate with departmental evaluations and contribute to course assessment processes.
Foster a supportive atmosphere by maintaining office hours and offering academic advising when needed.
Respond to student inquiries promptly, maintaining open communication through various channels.
Embrace a dynamic and collaborative work environment, attending all required meetings and contributing as part of the team.
Minimum Qualifications
Master's or doctoral degree in Psychology or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
Experience teaching at the college level in Psychology-related courses preferred.
Proficiency in various instructional modalities, including face-to-face, remote, online, and hybrid.
Willingness to explore non-traditional formats, such as online, remote, hybrid, and alternative schedules.
Desired Qualities
A genuine passion for teaching and inspiring students' intellectual curiosity.
Strong communication skills, fostering positive relationships with students, colleagues, and staff.
