Position Overview: Educational Consultant
As an Educational Consultant, you will play a pivotal role as a content expert and brand ambassador both internally and externally. Your responsibilities will span the entire customer journey, from pre-sale through implementation. You'll create and deliver engaging content for sales presentations, develop implementation and professional development plans, and provide training and support as a trusted advisor throughout pilot programs and initial deployments. Your role will be instrumental in building strong customer relationships, establishing Teaching Strategies as a trusted expert, and enhancing our credibility and integrity in the market.
Specific Roles & Responsibilities
Inspire & Mentor: Lead and mentor our internal teams, empowering them with in-depth knowledge of Teaching Strategies content and products. Facilitate continuous learning and development for customer-facing teams and those involved in product development.
Collaborate for Success: Partner with the Sales and Partner Success Teams to drive revenue growth and ensure seamless implementation of our solutions. You'll lead content-specific aspects of sales presentations, create tailored implementation plans, and serve as a consultant on specialized aspects of early childhood education and the various markets we serve.
Be a Thought Leader: Strengthen our position as a thought leader by representing Teaching Strategies at conferences, contributing to blog posts, and engaging in internal and external communications.
Showcase Success: Build model implementations of our ecosystem, serving as ambassadors and exemplifying successful use cases to demonstrate our solutions in action.
Commit to Excellence: Embody our commitment to program success in all interactions, from informal emails to national and regional conference presentations.
Qualifications
Passion for Early Childhood Education: You have over 10 years of experience in the early childhood field, and ideally, you hold a B.A. in early childhood education or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Leadership & Training Skills: You have experience building and leading programs as an administrator or instructional coach, and you excel at conducting adult learning training sessions.
Product & Industry Knowledge: Your deep understanding of Teaching Strategies' suite of solutions and expertise in sales and implementation make you an invaluable resource.
Engaging Presenter: Whether in-person or via Zoom, your presentation skills are exceptional.
Willingness to Travel: You're open to traveling up to 40% nationally, as necessary.
Tech-Savviness: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products is essential, and you quickly grasp new technology applications.
