Introduction
Are you passionate about numbers and strategic decision-making? As a Financial Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in evaluating and analyzing business-related financial and operational data sets, providing valuable insights to support our management team's strategic decisions. We are seeking individuals who possess critical decision-making skills, a strong financial acumen, and a flair for data analysis and management.
What You Will Work On
In This Role, You'll Have The Opportunity To
Analyze financial data and create comprehensive financial models to aid in decision support.
Conduct complex financial and operational analysis to support both short-term and long-range strategic plans and budgets.
Identify trends, monitor variances, and recommend actions to management based on your analyses.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide budgeting, project, and asset management analysis.
Utilize market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuation comps to stay ahead of the curve.
Partner with various teams to analyze and provide commentary on P&L, forecasts, and budgets.
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in Financial Integrated Management systems.
Background in hospitality is highly desirable and valued.
Experience with Profit Sword and Sage Intacct is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, especially Excel with expertise in pivot tables, v-lookups, filters, and macros.
Strong communication skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Curiosity and a drive for continuous improvement.
Organized, reliable, and capable of working independently.
Who You Will Work With
You will report to the Director of FP&A and collaborate closely with other FP&A analysts and regional teams, including operations, marketing, accounting, revenue management, and more. Occasional interactions with external stakeholders, such as property owners and asset managers, will add diversity to your work.
