Our portfolio of projects focuses on developing innovative solutions to enhance their health awareness, educational opportunities, and overall well-being.
Role Overview
You will play a pivotal role in assisting the Assistant Professor and collaborating with our research program coordinator. Your responsibilities will include a variety of exciting tasks, mostly conducted remotely, to support the smooth execution of our projects.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate on the creation of engaging survey instruments to assess the health and technology awareness levels of Tibetan refugee children in India and Nepal.
Assist in developing insightful questionnaires for key informant interviews with representatives from schools, including students, teachers, and home mothers.
Contribute to the development and implementation of structured online health and educational programs designed to foster accelerated learning among the children.
Participate in the design and execution of tuberculosis and HIV prevention programs, focusing on TB preventive treatment and HIV PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis).
Conduct data collection by administering questionnaires and analyzing historical data on educational outputs and health outcomes of children.
Follow established research protocols diligently and undergo necessary training for protocol adherence.
Ensure the safe and secure entry and storage of collected data, maintaining data integrity and privacy.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree with related experience preferred.
Special Skills/Knowledge
We welcome candidates who possess an understanding of the geopolitical situation in the context of global health delivery and diplomacy. Familiarity with education and health systems in low-middle-income countries, the Tibetan refugee community, its culture and language, and social structure would be advantageous.
