Description
Reporting directly to the Sr. Director, Commercial Marketing & Planning, the Sr. Customer Marketing Manager - Foodservice, is responsible for the development, planning, communication, and execution of tactical plans to support our largest national Foodservice customers across National Recreation & Travel, Workplace and Restaurant business segments. This position requires a working knowledge of the Foodservice sector, DSD RTM/Bottlers, and the consumer landscape. Thru these experiences, you will develop and showcase the ability to strategically evaluate business opportunities, leverage consumer insights and behaviors to address customer-based opportunities and bring them to market to positively impact brand equity, business sales and profitability. This role will hone skills in building strong team dynamics, dealing with ambiguity, influencing up to the highest levels with customer and driving results.
Responsibilities
- Lead the creation and briefing process to deliver account-specific promotions with key customers, to support activation of national and local programs.
- Execute plans that support the introduction of new products and packages,
- Drive impactful marketing programs and consumer engagement opportunities that have scale, are repeatable, & improve efficiency and effectiveness in market.
- Leverage and apply in-depth understanding of consumer insights, including demographic/psychographic trends, consumer perceptions/attitudes, need states, motivations, and purchase/consumption behavior to advance the business.
- Participate in the development of communications and content around our brands that drive consumer excitement and incent product purchase.
- Manage all touchpoints with respect to program briefing, concept development, and execution.
- Serve as primary liaison with the brand and cross-functional teams.
- Build plans leveraging national and local paid and owned media channels, and music and sports properties/sponsorships when applicable.
- Support/assist SVP Foodservice Sales in building compelling JBPs and AOPs
- Lead cross-functional teams to execute projects to successful completion, including the successful launch of new products.
Qualifications
- Creative agency management experience, and expertise developing and executing promotions as required.
- Preferred: MBA with a concentration in Marketing
- Prior experience leveraging consumer insights to develop effective selling stories, marketing programs and campaigns.
- Result-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes.
- Proficiency in market data analysis, and performance measurement.
- Minimum Qualification: Undergraduate Degree
- A minimum of 6 years prior Marketing experience (if Undergrad degree only) OR 3 years of prior Marketing experience (if Advanced degree)
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with internal teams, external partners, and bottlers.
- Leadership abilities to guide and motivate a team of cross-functional professionals.
- Preferred: Prior Marketing experience within consumer-packaged goods, Customer management/Account management experience a plus.
