We’re looking for aRegional Account Managerto support our territory that covers the states of Illinois, Michigan, and Iowa. Reporting to the Regional Sales Director for our Professional Services division, the Regional Account Manager will be responsible for driving digital product sales within the assigned territory by connecting with customers and groups.This role will be calling on C-Level decision makers at hospitals and medical schools to build customized digital solutions for their professional needs.
This role does require travel (30%) within the designated territory.Candidates will preferably reside in Illinois, Michigan, or Iowa as the designated territory.Regional Account Managers spend 75% of their time calling on accounts regarding new and existing product in an effort to maximize sales and increase market share of accounts.

Regional Account Managers are experienced communicators who are highly organized, data-driven, and can quickly build and leverage new relationships to maximize the impact of McGraw Hill solutions. The ideal candidate has an entrepreneurial spirit – is willing to seek out, engage and close business all while working in a dynamic and complex environment. Intellectual curiosity and an appreciation for building relationships are keys to success in this role.
What you will be doing:
- Reaching or exceeding established sales goals for assigned territory and partnering with internal support teams to drive revenue.
- Building strong relationships with medical and hospital stakeholders – becoming their trusted advisor for digital solutions and continuously identifying new opportunities to cultivate partnerships.
- Managing the overall account relationships with weekly and monthly calls regarding new and existing products to maximize sales and increase market share.
- Responsible for the sale of institutional digital products to medical and hospital accounts, meeting sales target set by sales management, and increasing market share of large accounts.
- Reporting sales progress against goals, sharing efficiencies and overall performance, and leading regular follow-up with sales management.
- Managing accounts in CRM and setting annual and monthly sales forecasts and tracking progress and overall performance.
We’re looking for someone with:
- Evidence of being a high achiever with a track record of success.
- Capacity to think outside the box and solve problems independently.
- Experience working with Deans, Academic Affairs, and Libraries within the medical/allied health space preferred
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment and adaptable to change.
- Experience selling digital solutions or platforms in a subscription model preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree and at least 5 years of sales experience.
- A competitive spirit and passion to succeed.
- Excellent presentation, interpersonal communication, and time management skills.

The pay range for this position is between $83,000 - $114,000 annually, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. An annual bonus plan will be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and/or other benefits, depending on the position offered.
