Join the leader in entertainment innovation and help us design the future. At Dolby, science meets art, and high tech means more than computer code. As a member of the Dolby team, you’ll see and hear the results of your work everywhere, from movie theaters to smartphones. We continue to revolutionize how people create, deliver, and enjoy entertainment worldwide. To do that, we need the absolute best talent. We’re big enough to give you all the resources you need, and small enough so you can make a real difference and earn recognition for your work. We offer a collegial culture, challenging projects, and excellent compensation and benefits, not to mention a Flex Work approach that is truly flexible to support where, when, and how you do your best work.

Dolby.io is a new developer platform by Dolby Labs that puts decades of Dolby sight and sound technology into the hands of developers to deliver quality in real-time streaming, communications, and media processing solutions — at scale. The platform includes a powerful suite of self-service APIs, SDKs, and sample apps that enable developers to easily deploy real-time streaming services with sub-second latency, integrate audio/video chat functionality into their apps, and add media processing capabilities into existing workflows to enhance the quality of audio and video files. With its accessibility, ease of use, and best-in-class audio innovation, Dolby.io is powering the future of immersive, interactive, and social online experiences that rival real world experiences.

We are seeking a talented Sr. Product Marketing Manager to lead the Communications APIs portfolio with a focus on live virtual event use cases. Your role will be instrumental in driving product awareness, preference, adoption, monetization, and growth.

Role Overview:

As the Sr. Product Marketing Manager for Real-time Voice and Video Communications specializing in Live Virtual Event use cases, you will lead the charge to establish Dolby.io as the leading developer platform for interactive video communications in this space. By drawing from deep industry insights, differentiating our offering from competitors, uncovering new use cases, and captivating diverse audiences, from developers to SMBs to MM and Enterprise customers, you will play a crucial role in positioning Dolby.io as the premier choice. Collaboration with sales, marketing, product management, engineering, and developer relations will be key as you craft compelling product positioning and messaging, drive pipeline creation, accelerate deals, and shape the product roadmap. This is your opportunity to be part of an innovation hub within Dolby and make a significant impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Create engaging customer-facing and sales enablement content, such as sales collateral, pitch decks, battlecards, demos, blog posts, website copy, webinars, and email campaigns, to drive pipeline creation and conversion.
  • Craft compelling product positioning and messaging that resonates with target audiences, including businesses, developers, and partners, effectively showcasing the unique value of Dolby.io Communications/Voice & Video APIs.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies in close collaboration with sales, marketing, product management, engineering, and developer relations.
  • Manage relationships with agencies and contractors, as required.
  • Gain a deep understanding of target customer segments and their pain points to inform and drive effective marketing and sales strategies.
  • Support sales enablement, release marketing, new product introductions (NPI), pricing and packaging, and branding efforts.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of go-to-market efforts and optimize strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to execute demand generation campaigns, account-based marketing initiatives, social media strategies, paid digital, SEO, content marketing, PR/AR activities, and industry events.
  • Continuously gather and communicate customer feedback to enhance our product roadmap.
  • Lead product marketing for the Dolby.io Communications/Voice & Video APIs portfolio, with a primary focus on Live Virtual Event customer use cases
  • Launch impactful competitive takeout campaigns, delivering tangible results.

Qualifications / Experience:

  • Data-driven mindset with a relentless focus on achieving measurable outcomes.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills, able to craft persuasive and authentic messaging.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, with a natural ability to bring clarity and drive results.
  • 5-7 years of B2B SaaS/PaaS marketing.
  • Highly desirable: Real-time Communications / WebRTC Voice & Video APIs technical expertise.
  • Bonus: Demonstrated experience in driving product-led growth.
  • Occasional travel required.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or an MBA are desirable.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking abilities, translating complex technical concepts into easily understandable ideas.
