Job Summary


The Sr Recruiter will be a team oriented individual responsible for consulting with hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs, develop sourcing strategies to leverage diverse, high caliber candidates and monitor requisition status to ensure an efficient and effective recruitment process.


Essential Duties And Responsibilities


  • Deliver insightful metrics to help anticipate challenges for business needs to meet hiring goals.
  • Manage vendor relationships with contingency recruiting firms.
  • Manage internal transfer of candidates including screening, coordinating of interviews and offer details.
  • Use proactive recruitment methods to create and maintain relationships with potential candidates for employment with Apria.
  • Manage candidate activity and provide consistent documentation using the Applicant Tracking System.
  • Maintain network of candidates and professional associates through contact and visibility within the local business community.
  • Partner with hiring managers to determine current and future hiring needs.
  • Identify, acquire, and maintain non-traditional sourcing strategies to acquire best possible talent.
  • Develop a working knowledge of departments to quickly identify hiring needs at all levels.
  • Responsible for building trusted recruiting partnerships with hiring managers through demonstrated recruiting leadership skills.
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with hiring managers and candidates to ensure achievement of recruiting goals.
  • Performs other duties as required.
  • Establish, cultivate, and maintain ongoing relationships for future candidate pipeline.
  • Manage and maintains diversity strategy to attract a diverse workforce to the company.
  • Conduct full life cycle recruiting including position posting, sourcing, screening, and recommending placement of staff.

Minimum Required Qualifications


MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS


Education And/or Experience


  • At least six years of full life-cycle recruiting is required; including recruitment for leadership, clinical, sales and/or high-volume customer service and delivery/technician type positions.
  • Four-year college degree or equivalent experience


Skills, Knowledge And Abilities


  • Strong Business Acumen.
  • Self-motivated with high level of independence.
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues to achieve individual, team and company goals.
  • Excellent written and oral communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to manage your own schedule; including, reaching out to candidates early in the morning, late in the evening and/or on weekends as needed to cover multiple time zones and for jobs that work different shifts.
  • Strong relationship building skills.
  • Knowledge of current federal/state regulations related to employment (i.e. EEOC, ADA, etc.)


Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Professional Designations


  • Certified recruiting credential, such as: SHRM – Talent Acquisition, Certified Staffing Professional (CSP), Professional Recruiter Certification (PRC) etc. preferred.


Computer Skills


  • Microsoft Office Skills
  • Experience with an Applicant Tracking System


Language Skills


  • English (reading, writing, verbal)


Mathematical Skills


  • Basic math skills

PHYSICAL DEMANDS


This is a stationary position that requires frequent sitting or standing, repetitive wrist motions, grasping, speaking, listening, close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. It also may require occasional lifting, carrying, walking, climbing, kneeling, bending/stooping, twisting, pulling/pushing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching above the shoulder. This position also may require the occasional lifting of equipment up to 50 lbs.

Compensation


  • Annual compensation is based on a 40 hour week
  • Compensation is commensurate with experience.
