The University Relations & Recruiting team seeks a Campus Recruiter to identify, attract, and hire top entry-level talent for The Aerospace Corporation. The successful candidate will be a highly organized strategic thinker responsible for the end-to-end strategy, execution, and delivery of recruitment programs.

You should have exceptional communication skills, love working in a fast-paced environment and be confident managing interactions and expectations at all levels of the organization. This position reports to the Director of University Relations & Recruiting.


Flexible Work Model!


This position can be fully remote anywhere within the United States. If you want to be onsite or in a hybrid work model offering partially remote with some onsite work in any of our offices located in Southern California (El Segundo, CA), Colorado Springs, CO, Albuquerque, NM, or the Washington DC metro area, we can do that too.


What You’ll Be Doing


  • Utilize the applicant tracking system and customer relationship management tools to capture and track recruiting activity.
  • Serve in a consultative manner with managers and candidates.
  • Develop creative sourcing strategies to build a talented, diverse candidate pool supporting the company’s strategic imperatives.
  • Execute recruiting plans for designated schools, conferences, etc.
  • Must be able to exhibit the ability to have fun at work
  • Candidate management –acting as the main point of contact (champion) for students throughout the campus recruiting process and at hiring events. Ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Lead campus teams on recruiting business objectives for designated campuses, ensure staffing and branding, protocols, and provide support as needed to accomplish the goals of selected schools.
  • Work with multiple business groups (various locations) on the efficiency of the planning, sourcing, and hiring process while maintaining compliance with government regulations (OFCCP, EEO)
  • Full cycle recruiting for entry-level talent; responsibilities include but are not limited to sourcing, screening, interviewing, compensation analysis, and formulating and extending offers


This position may be filled as a Recruiter III or IV.


What You Need To Be Successful


Minimum Requirements for Level III:


  • Strong computer skills, with an ability to utilize applicant tracking systems and customer relationship management tools
  • Able to travel 50% domestically and work extended hours during peak hiring seasons
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Bachelor’s degree and six years of agency, corporate, or college recruiting experience
  • Demonstrated experience working in an autonomous work environment, leading small groups, and delivering company presentations


Minimum Requirements For Level IV


  • Bachelor’s degree and ten years of agency, corporate, or college recruiting experience
  • Strong computer skills, with an ability to utilize applicant tracking systems and customer relationship management tools
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Able to travel 50% domestically and work extended hours during peak hiring seasons
  • Demonstrated experience working in an autonomous work environment, leading small groups, and delivering company presentations


How You Can Stand Out


It would be impressive if you have one or more of these:


  • Proven Ph.D. level recruitment experience
  • Recruitment project and event planning
  • Experience with WorkDay, Eightfold, Yello, Avature, NACELink, Symplicity, or Handshake
  • Three years of corporate college recruitment experience


We offer a competitive compensation package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to our business. The grade-based pay range for this job is listed below. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skills.

$85,546 - $110,273 - $135,000


Pay Basis: Annual
